After The Refurbishment Process All wheels are checked and balanced, we would recommend you get tracking done to prevent uneven tyre wear or road ‘wobbling,’ both of which can damage the long-term integrity of your alloys and the safety of your vehicle.
The refurbishment process can take up to a week. We understand, that in those days having a car off the road can be a huge inconvenience.
We therefore offer a courtesy wheels service - we will lend you a set of wheels for the time of refurbishment, so you can keep the car on the road.
We don’t have stock of hundreds of sets of wheels for all car makes & models so please contact us first to check availability.

Wheel damage can cause your steering wheel to shake and vibrate which could be scary and uncomfortable. It can also feel as if your wheels are wobbling. Neglected, damaged wheels can shorten the lifespan of your tyres, so it can be expensive as well as unpleasant. In some cases, wheel damage can mean driving is dangerous or can result in MOT failure.

Bent - dented - scuffed wheels: How?
Potholes: Sometimes, you can’t avoid them – and it’s getting harder because there are more around. Local authorities in England and Wales filled 1.5m potholes in 2019-20 – that’s 400,000 less than the year before.
Kerb clipping: clipping the kerb when rounding a corner, or less dramatically, scraping along the kerb when parking, can damage your alloys.
Speed bumps: these can also cause wheel damage.

Our technicians will not do the job if they think the wheel will be unsafe afterwards. In that case, they recommend a new wheel.
The tyre is removed, and the wheel is placed on a state-of-the-art balancer and then rotates at high speed so our highly trained technicians can detect any flat spots, cracks, dents, gouges or other deformities. The next move depends on what the problem is.
• Flat spots can be marked and gently pushed out with a hydraulic ram, returning the wheel to the correct shape.
• Damage to the wheel edge can be smoothed out or filled in by an experienced technician, who can return the edge to its former smooth profile.
Each damaged wheel is different. Bring it, and we’ll give you an estimate.
If you have alloy wheel insurance, you may be able to use it to claim the cost of the repair. General motor policies don’t usually cover this, but if you are particularly keen to maintain your alloys – which many of our customers are – you may have one of these policies.
It all Depends on the condition of the wheel.
The process, wheel straightening usually takes between one and two hours, while filling and returning to a smooth edge can take up to a day, allowing time for regular checks. If you go into the branch, our technicians can advise you of the time required.

Spyder alloys on my E60 had seen better days. They were in a bit of a state with kerb scuffs on each wheel, corrosion on one and buckles in 3.
Paddy, Dave & Waheed did an amazing job at restoring my alloys, unbuckling them and powder coating to a colour of my choice which I changed from standard silver to BMW Ferric Grey.
I also got my brake calipers painted from an aged near rusty metal to a blue close to the BMW blue calipers.
The team went above and beyond also sourcing two rear tyres which i was particular about on brand and model, they got them in the next day and fitted.
